Ceremony of awarding the medals of the 5th edition of the Moroccan Competition for Local Products

Under the aegis of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests, the Agricultural Development Agency (ADA) organized on July 23, 2022 at Agropole Berkane, the ceremony of presentation of medals for the 5th edition of the Moroccan Competition for Local Products. Chaired by the Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, this ceremony testifies to the unwavering support of the Department of Agriculture to producers of local products.

Of the 980 products in competition, representing all regions of the Kingdom, 7 prizes of excellence were awarded. As for the medals, 449 medals were awarded, including 156 gold, 133 silver and 160 bronze. The main award-winning products are honey, including 72 gold, 68 silver and 61 bronze, olive oil, including 3 gold, 2 silver and 10 bronze, Argane, including 5 gold, 4 silver and 9 bronze, dates including 2 gold, 6 silver and one bronze and couscous including 26 gold, 31 silver and 48 bronze.
