5th edition of the Moroccan competition for local products

Under the aegis of the Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, the Agency for Agricultural Development (ADA) organized the 5th edition of the Moroccan competition for local products, opened on June 23 2022 at the Béni Mellal agropole by The Secretary General of the Department of Agriculture, Mr. Redouane Arrach.


The main objective of this national competition is to promote local products, which are not only a source of wealth creation and income for the rural world, but also a fundamental lever for the preservation of the cultural wealth and biodiversity of which abounds. the country in agriculture.


This biannual competition is a powerful tool for highlighting the notable efforts made by producers and agricultural cooperatives. It is part of the implementation of the national strategy for the development of local products launched in 2012 by the Ministry, reflecting the momentum instilled by the Green Morocco Plan for the promotion and development of local products.
